Dangerous Crossing, 1953

«Jeanne Crain is stunning in it», - says C. Parker in his Starletshowcase blog. and i agree wholeheartedly. Strangely enough she is not very famous somehow. Perhaps the usual story — did not sleep in the right beds at the right time. Her play is also superb, so it's not just appearance.

Michael Rennie is also good. The movie itself is ok, the plot is a bit childish, somewhat Hitchcock-like, but the details are good & belieavable. I love the way this C. Parker says about himself in his blog: «Born in the 1950s, basically drunk in the 1970s, and now gliding comfortably toward oblivion.»
