выставки осенью

в Neue Galerie - Alfred Kubin, рисунки довольно средние, страшилки фрейдистского толка примерно того же времени, разве можно сравнить с замечательной выставкой Kirchner and the Berlin Street в MoMa. Целая стена огромных уличных сцен Кирхнера, замечательный автопортрет, очень желтый, много рисунков. Отбор картин немного странный, я не очень понял принцип. если уж Berlin Street - при чем тут автопортрет и nudes?

там же, в MoMa - Van Gogh and the Colors of the Night, тоже принцип не слишком выдержан, но большинство картин - ночь или закат, из всех периодов. закатные пейзажи, особенно ранние, напоминают "За книгой" Рильке.

Chagall and the Artists of the Russian Jewish Theater, 1919-1949 в Jewish Museum - очень уж узкоспецияльная. там больше надо читать, чем сматреть. большие панно Шагала для фойе театров... умеренно.

ну и наконец Art and Love in Renaissance Italy - замечательные майолики, целый жанр изделий, называющихся chilbirth tray & childbirth bowl - дарили на рождение ребенка, расписаны с двух сторон. Fra Filippo Lippi, Botticelli, Giorgione, Lorenzo Lotto, Titian, и вплоть до откровенной порнухи, от которой посетителей online версии решили уберечь.

вот тут - неплохая коллекция Кирхнера.

путь к причалу

удивительно, насколько фильм свободен от идеологии. партия там просто ни разу не упомянута. русским духом пронизано насквозь, но дружба народов не забыта, с некоторым нажимом даже произнесена.

до последней четверти фильм вполне соответствует любому итальянскому нео-реализму, а по мне так и лучше. необыкновенной силы кино. собственно, макабр последней четверти с затоплением и самопожертвованием тоже вовсе не так уж и preposterous.

еще посмотрел Cache пресловутого Michael Haneke. исключительно политкорректный фильм. psychotic white male и нещастный алжирский иммигрант, которого он подставил в раннем децтве, испортив ему всю жизнь. фильм умеренно макабрический, но досмотреть до конца мне удалось. дурь, в общем-то. вдруг понял, что Juliette Binoche выглядит кое-как и играет так себе. Jeanne Moreau гораздо интереснее во всех отношениях.
