profundities, profanities - а не один ли... вместо profundities следовало бы написать subtleties, мне кажется. но идея верна про all of them more or less equally valid. или invalid, что, в общем-то, то же самое.

by the time she had ceased trying to define the insult - исключительно неуклюжая фраза. и вся эта дурацкая назревающая вместе с восстанием любовная история... глупости какие. и дамочке нет еще и 25-ти. а profundities - ого-го.

собственно, любовная история тоже примерно на уровне young adult. ну разве с уклоном в сторону Хемингуэя. одно другому не мешает, кстати. и все полно ложной многозначительности. философские дискуссии с мальчиком Амаром в главе 28...
