New York Times Disparages

Expert on Syria touted by Kerry, McCain during hearing fired for being a fraud: According to the Huffington Post, Dr. Elizabeth O’Bagy was fired when the group she was affiliated with, the Institute of War, found out that she was no doctor and had never gained a Ph.D. ... But the blurry lines do not end there. Apparently the fake doctor has other dubious connections. O'Bagy is said to be political director of the Syrian Emergency Task Force, a Washington-based advocacy group that has reportedly lobbied the White House to support the rebels in—guess where? Syria.
It gets better. O’Bagy now claims she was paid as a contractor and wasn’t an employee of the SETF, and the Daily Caller is reporting that the think tank knew about O'Bagy's Ph.D. duplicity long before they fired her.
