Red-Headed Woman замечательно смешной и познавательный фильм, 1932 год, на диске Forbidden Hollywood 1. тут - прекрасная подборка кадров из этого и других pre-code should’ve-been classics, но потрясающей сцены пинка нет, конечно, ни тут, ни на dvdbeaver alas. но я ее найду. неполиткорректность зашкаливает, вплоть до успеха в конце явно отрицательной героини. bad girls finish first!

Waterloo Bridge from the same disk is an Anglicized story of Sonya Marmeladova which gets blown by a German bomb in 1940 instead of going to Siberia with her beloved as in the novel. Ridiculous this movie was ever considered offensive to public morality. Especially in the mid-50's of XX century.
The third movie on disk, Baby Face, is not very different from Red-Headed Woman, much weaker though.
