среди прочего обсуждали происхождение названия Good Friday.

позвонила дама, сказавшая, что она из Швеции, и что у них Good Friday называется Long Friday, вероятно из-за долгих страданий Христа.

потом позвонила дама и сказала, что она из Манхэттена, зовут ее Anastasia, и на хорошем английском, без акцента, сказала, что в России Good Friday называется Strastnaya Pyatnica, что означает Scary Friday.

на что ведущий Brian Lehrer сказал: Oh really? I guess Russians have a darker view of everything than we have here in America.
