пьесу (1956) следует сравнивать с Трамвай Желание, конечно (1947). влияние, по-моему, несомненно. ну и Трамвай Желание во многих отношениях сильнее, прежде всего в плане необходимости всего происходящего. у Осборна все трогательно, но необязательно. могло быть так, могло быть эдак. и люди, в общем-то, довольно случайные, включая главного героя с его трубой. конструкция, созданная Уильямсом, не имеет "степеней свободы", кругом - железная необходимость. ну и персонажи... что Бланш, что Стенли - точность снайпера. и всеобъемлющесть водородной бомбы.
