She is a devil in a dress
A wolf in sheep clothes, she got horns below her halo
She parades like a saint on Sunday morning
But even the devil dwelled in heaven once
She masquerades to keep the people from knowing
She's as evil, as evil does
She puts whiskey in her cornflakes
She puts whiskey in her beer
She can't stand strong perfume
So she puts whiskey behind her ear
Yeah, she's a whiskey drinkin' woman
Drinks whiskey all the time
очень трогательно
отличный пример того, что называется cultural differences: эту песню передают по каналу BB King Bluesville на Sirius XM, как говорится, without much ado. однако абсолютно невозможно представить, чтобы ее передали по русскому радио. "сегодня Нинка соглашается" - это самый крайний край, и ее далеко не всякая станция передаст.
It took me a long time, to find out my mistakes
Took me a long time, to find out my mistakes
(It sho' did man) But I bet you my bottom dollar, I'm not fattenin' no more frogs for snakes.
What it really means is: Example: A pretty girl in a bar(frog) who has a boyfriend at home (snake) and there's a guy at the bar buying her drink after drink (fattening) in hopes of taking her home with him, but when the bar closes she goes home to her man. Hence: Fattening the frog for the snake.

This quote crossed my mind today because as women, we can can put so much time, care and concern into a man to build his ego and status. Sometimes all that effort is later afforded to another woman leaving youlike a baker without a taste.

еще замечательная композиция B.B. King – All Over Again, текст очень даже есть:
I've got a good mind to give up living, and go shopping instead
I say, I've got a good mind to give up living, and go
shopping instead
To pick up me a tombstone, and be pronounced dead
Тhen I read your letter this morning, that was in your place in bed
I read your letter this morning, that was in your place in bed
That's when I decided, that I would be better off dead
It read, there is no use you looking, or ever hoping to get me back
Oh, there's no use you looking, or ever hoping to get me back
Yes, because it's all over now, and you can bet on that
